This gorgeous blanket was featured in the October 2020 Rustic Red Issue #79 of Happily Hooked Magazine, and I can now make it available for you to purchase it individually!
Walk in the Woods was created as an homage to my old childhood stomping grounds, the woods of Wisconsin. Fall is my favorite time of year, and it was one of the busiest times for the animals of the woods because they were all getting ready to hunker down for the cold winter that was on its way.
In this blanket, you will be able to test your skills and gain some new ones. The featured stitches are plaid, cables, basketweave, fans, granny squares, bobble stitches, front and back post stitches, and thick, gorgeous cluster stitches. There are different forest foliage and animals represented by the various stitches. Mushrooms, acorns, tree bark, and leaves, as well as bears, deer, foxes, raccoons, and owls.
The finished size of this blanket is 59" x 59"
This is an advanced blanket. The owl section is intense.
