This sweet and simple shawl pattern is just that...sweet and simple. There is an easy 4-row repeat throughout, and it works up quickly. The simplicity of the design lends itself well to gradient and striped yarns.
The beginning chain determines the width of the shawl from neck to waist. That makes the shawl very adjustable in both width and length. The material amounts listed give you a 24" W x 60" L shawl. If you want it longer than 60" and wider than 24", then I suggest you purchase a ball or two extra of your chosen yarn. Your beginning chain will be any multiple of 3 + 2.
This pattern works fabulously for comfort shawls and prayer shawls.
