Do you love bumblebees and the wonderful things they do for our planet?
This bumblebee garden crochet blanket pattern is a sweet and whimsical way to decorate your home. The blanket is made of four sections that each have a different textural design.
The different parts include the Center, which represents the honey/honeycomb of the bumblebee, the Sides, which represent the trellis in the garden, the Corners, which represent sunshine, and the Flower/Bees, which are used to decorate your blanket.
The flowers are made with bright colors and appliqued onto the panels as you like. The chubby bumblebees are also crocheted and attached separately. The blanket is easy to make and fun to mix and match with different colors and flowers. There is nothing harder than a treble crochet and a picot in the entire blanket pattern and there is a video tutorial for the challenging section.
You will need DK weight yarn in yellow, green, white, black, and at least four other bright colors of your choice, and 3.75 mm & 4.00 mm crochet hooks. The finished blanket measures approximately 48” x 48”. Your blanket size can be easily altered using Worsted Weight yarn and a larger hook.
This bumblebee garden crochet blanket is a cute and cozy project that will make you smile every time you see it.
